  • The original Model 46L design which has been retired. This model was used in the Franklin-Christoph pen show test kits in the early 2000s. At that time, Franklin-Christoph tended to make fewer editions with shorter term productions in the Model 46L.
  • Features special block threads at the end of the grip section. These smoother feeling threads are out of the way of your fingers. Placing the threads at this spot also limits the amount of air within the cap chamber, thereby helping to mitigate dry out. The design of the block threads also releases the air when you unscrew so as to not create a suction effect on the ink.
  • Precision posting - when capping the post, the angle of the end of the barrel matches the angle of the interior of the cap to make for a solid grip when posting the cap on the barrel.
  • Filled 3 ways, via disposable cartridge, piston converter, or the eye dropper method. Barrel holds approximately 3.1ml of ink when eyedroppered.
  • Comes with a choice of #6 HP Steel Franklin-Christoph factory nib choices, a converter, two ink cartridges, a single pen pouch, and a white gift box.
